Duties

• Perform pre-arrival and departure room checks
• Greeting and checking guests in and out
• Assisting with guest itinerary arrangements
• Printing management reports
• Booking computer-based reservations and cancellations
• Answering the public telephone and internal Guest Services number
• Light housekeeping
• Giving property tours
• Becoming familiar with and sharing the hotel and local history with visitors
• Familiarize with and follow all hotel emergency procedures
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Necessary Skills

• The ability to communicate politely and charmingly with guests is essential.
• A familiarity with either the Columbia County cultural, food, or hospitality scene is required.
• Experience with PMS systems, especially Cloudbeds, is advantageous but not required. The willingness to learn is required.

Shifts

• Friday: 2pm - 8pm (6 hours)
• Saturday: 730am - 1130am (4 hours)
• Saturday: 1130am – 330am (4 hours)
• Sunday: 8am – 12pm (4 hours)
• Monday to Thursday: 2pm - 8pm (6 hours)
