Are you a landowner, recreationist, watershed steward, or a family of environmental enthusiasts? Then join us on the Batavia Kill this September for a stream-focused educational experience and walk, fun for youth and adults! Each day’s workshop will include a hands-on exploration of the creatures that live in and around streams, plus a walk and talk covering a different topic each day. These topics include Riparian Areas and Floodplains, Invasive Species, and Aquatic Connectivity and Stream Habitat (one per day). Whether you choose one day or choose them all, you’ll receive a stream resource kit complete with factsheets and guides! This workshop series will be repeated in October, so make sure to look out for future dates if you can’t join us this September.
